Love in a Storm
Hot spring day becomes warm spring night;
Ready for bed, we begin to fight.
The air is humid and words are heated.
A storm rolls in as we are seated.
Harsh words spoken as the thunder crashes;
Tense and electric as the lightning flashes.
We stand and shout as the strong winds blow,
An argument neither will win, we both know.
The height of the storm and we embrace,
From anger to passion as we’re face to face.
Torrents of rain as we jump into bed;
The most energetic love since we were wed.
From violent storm to sprinkles in puddles,
Were then engaged in giggles and cuddles.
Since it’s turned so cool, I add some cover
And drift off to sleep with my special lover.

At times, marriages (and other relationships), can be stormy. With mutual respect, those relationships can be less stormy. The best part of having a verbal fight is making up afterward.
With honesty and faithfulness, a relationship can be very rewarding even though it may be stormy at times. But without honesty and faithfulness, a relationship will likely end.
