Wait For Me By The River

In this life here together,
Many storms we have weathered.
Wait for me in the morning.
I’ll be there.

If you go before I do,
I will soon be going too.
Wait for me by The River.
I’ll be there.

Chorus:

Wait for me. Wait for me.
I’ll be there. I’ll be there.
Then sweet Heaven
We will share.

We will stroll hand in hand
All over Glory Land.
Wait for me by The River.
I’ll be there

In this world of sin and trouble,
By God’s grace I love you double.
Wait for me in the morning.
I’ll be there.

We will meet our family.
And from death we will be free.
Wait for me by The River.
I’ll be there.

Chorus:

Wait for me. Wait for me.
I’ll be there. I’ll be there.
Then sweet Heaven
We will share.

We will stroll hand in hand
All over Glory Land.
Wait for me by The River.
I’ll be there.

We will stroll hand in hand
All over Glory Land.
Wait for me by The River.
I’ll be there.
