First, I would like to encourage you to support Toys for Tots or other organizations in your area that provide toys for kids at Christmas.
For Christmas We Want Toys is song in a play, God’s Gift, that was done at Fitzgerald Baptist Church in Wynne, Arkansas on December 20, 1989. The play was written and directed by Terry Hatfield and Steve Green.

The title of the play, God’s Gift, has a dual meaning. It is in reference to God’s gift to us – Jesus. And it is in reference to God’s gift – from us.
For many, Christmas is a sad time due to loneliness and painful memories. All of these feelings and memories cannot be erased but God still has a purpose for each of us. Remember all of the gifts God has given each of us in our lifetime – and especially the greatest gift – Jesus our Savior.

For Christmas we want toys. We want lots and lots of toys. We don't want clothes or something to read, Absolutely nothing that we really need. If it's not a real big waste, Then it just won't fit our taste. You understand so don't be funny. You know it will cost you lots of money. We don't care if you go in debt. The credit cards are not maxed out yet. If it costs too much we don't care And don't get anything we have to share. We hope you get a real big raise So you can buy us the latest craze. Don't be dumb and make us mad Or all next year we'll be very bad. We have to have all the latest And it has to be the greatest. We are spoiled rotten girls and boys. We want lots and lots of toys.
