First of all – A shoutout to Stephen Starnes, Worship and College Pastor at Bartlett Baptist Church, for taking the time recently for a jam session to do the music for this new, original song. Click on the video below.
Not long ago, my wife, Annette, and I watched a movie, Heaven is for Real. Then I bought the book. Then I bought other books and watched many video clips.
I hope at some point you will enjoy some of the same media that I have regarding heaven. But don’t forget, the best book, The Book, The Holy Bible.
When I am watching a sports game, quite often I will scream, yell, jump up and down and act like a maniac. But when I am in church, I rarely show emotion. I am too reserved to lift my hands in praise, even when others are. In heaven, I would imagine that there will be a lot of excitement as we worship and praise.
For me, the biggest questions about heaven are:
- What will we know (and who)?
- What will we see?
- What will we feel?
- What will we do?
With My Heavenly Body
With my heavenly body
Will I walk, will I run,
Will I fly, or will I float?
How will I go
As I shout Hallelujah?
How will I go
As I travel those streets of gold?
With my heavenly mind
I will know, really know God;
No more questions, all the answers.
What will I know
As I shout Hallelujah?
What will I know
As I travel those streets of gold?
With my heavenly eyes
Will see Jesus, see my family,
See angels, and all the prophets.
What will I see
As I shout Hallelujah?
What will I see
As I travel those streets of gold?
With my heavenly heart
I will feel, the Holy Spirit,
Will feel peace, and perfect love.
What will I feel
As I shout Hallelujah?
What will I feel
As I travel those streets of gold?
With my heavenly voice
I will worship, I will sing,
Will sing praises to The King.
What will I sing?
I will sing Hallelujah.
What will I sing
As I travel those streets of gold.
With my heavenly body
How will I go,
What will I know,
What will I see,
What will I feel,
What will I sing
I will shout Hallelujah,
And sing Hallelujah
As I travel those streets of gold.
